LOVE LOVE LOVE this tent!!!
We have previously owned the classic cheaper coleman tents and when ours wore out, we bought a new coleman… upon opening it, it had tears in the seams…I boxed it up and sent it back. We were so upset by the lack of craftsmanship we decided to research better quality canvas tents. We are a young family and liked the idea of a tent that we could use for years to come. We decided on the 10×14, it’s very spacious and we are able to set up a queen, and twin air mattress with plenty of room to store our bags/totes and a large dog/bed. I am a petite lady and I was able to put this tent up by myself (only took 25 min from box to erect, while stopping to look at the directions) it is a very heavy tent, but I was able to put it up with a bit of effort.

Once up I was able to really get a look at this tent… WOW! This tent is large and heavy duty! The floor is a thick rubber-like material that you can tell isn’t gonna leak (and it didn’t, even when there were puddles of rain water between the tarp below and tent) I sprayed the tent down (as per directions) prior to our first camping trip. And off we went…

This tent has turned heads every time we camp, it is a heavy duty, quality tent that we know will last for years to come… It is so simple to put up, and we are so pleased with our investment.

We have not yet had it stand the test of a storm, but I have no doubt it will hold up well.
As far as staying warm, the larger tent makes it difficult to stay warm, so bundle up and use warm blankets 😉

Oh, did I mention the tent storage bag?!?! It’s awesome, and your tent will always fit, no need for super tight refilling to make it fit in the bag, this bag adjusts and will always fit your rolled up tent (we fold in half, then half again, roll and adjust the bag to fit )

To summarize:
Pros:

  • Large roomy tent that you can stand and walk around in, the walls are straight so you don’t lose storage room
  • Durable canvas that is waterproof
  • Quality thick floor that will not leak
  • Heavy duty metal rods/poles and steaks
  • Large doors and windows makes the tent feel even more open and allows a cross breeze
  • The ingenious tent bag that will always be able to fit the tent once rolled up
  • Cons:

  • The long poles (when storing) and the weight of the tent
  • No electrical slot for extension cords (have to put them through the door)
  • Overall If you are in the market for a quality tent that will last for years to come…buy this tent!
