OXO Tot Space Saving Drying Rack Review: A vertical answer to bottle clutter
Upright bottle pegs and separate small-parts trays make this rack a useful fit for narrow counters.

Review basis: This is a research-based editorial review of manufacturer documentation and published product specifications, not a hands-on test. Ratings reflect documented features and buying tradeoffs; performance claims are attributed to their sources.
A specific problem, neatly addressed
The OXO Tot Space Saving Drying Rack is for kitchens where clean bottles and their components threaten to take over the work surface. Instead of spreading the load across a broad mat, it puts bottles on upright rows of angled pegs. That makes its strongest case in a narrow strip beside the sink or against a backsplash. It is less useful if your main problem is drying large pump assemblies, bowls or assorted adult dishes. This is an organizer for a particular collection of small feeding equipment, not a universal dish rack.
How the layout changes the routine
OXO describes capacity for nine bottles plus accessories, with a top tray for smaller pieces and a ridged base for parts that do not hang on pegs. Keeping bottle bodies, rings and nipples in distinct places can make reassembly less frustrating than searching through a heap on a towel. The angled pegs are intended to direct water down and out. That is a sound layout choice, but actual drying still depends on spacing and airflow. Cramming parts together undermines the reason to choose a rack in the first place.
Check your particular bottles
Bottle shape matters more than a nominal capacity number. Tall narrow bottles, short wide bottles and cups with handles use the space differently. Before buying, consider your normal wash load rather than the largest number of bottles pictured in a product image. A household using several bottle systems may find the arrangement less efficient than one using a consistent set. The rack is designed to fit under cabinets, but measure your available clearance and allow room to remove the top tray. Accessibility is part of usable capacity.
Cleaning and space tradeoffs
The top and base trays detach for cleaning, and OXO identifies the rack as dishwasher safe. That is welcome because a drying rack itself needs cleaning; it should not become a permanent wet storage area. Its vertical body saves worktop area while making the contents more visible above the counter. Some buyers will appreciate the tidy arrangement; others may prefer a low mat that can be put away quickly. The original Space Saving model also should not be confused with OXO’s newer Expandable rack, which has a different tray arrangement and additional accessory holders.
Verdict
Buy this rack if the bottleneck in your routine is counter space and you repeatedly wash a predictable group of bottles and small parts. The layout earns its place by organizing the load, while removable trays make maintenance straightforward. Choose a larger open drying area if oversized parts dominate, or a compact travel rack if frequent packing matters more than daily capacity. The OXO is a focused household tool: its value is the work surface it gives back and the time saved locating clean components. It does not sterilize equipment or replace the cleaning method appropriate to those parts.
